Ingredients ( 5 cups )

  • ** For caramel **
  • 30g sugar
  • 30cc + 1 tablespoon water
  • ** For custard **
  • 400cc fresh milk
  • 60g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

Directions

  1. Prepare the caramel : Add 30cc water and the sugar into a pot and boil until sugar turns a caramel brown. Then add 1 tablespoon water. Immediately pour the hot caramel into the pudding cups
  2. Add the eggs into a bowl and stir it
  3. Add 60g sugar, the fresh milk and vanilla essence into a pot and cook until the color changed to skin color
  4. Add the above mixture(fresh milk+sugar+vanilla essence) into the bowl(where the eggs are inside it) and stir. To soften the mixture pour it into another bowl
  5. Pour the mixture into the pudding cups.
  6. Set in a warm water bath and bake at 160 degree for about 30-35 minutes
