Fried sardine bread

Ingredients ( 8 )
- For bread
- 140ml water or fresh milk (room temperature)
- 200g bread flour
- 8g butter
- 20g sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry yeast
- For filling
- 1 small canned sardine
- 1/2 onion (sliced into dice shape)
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- potatoes (bring to 2/3 cooked and sliced into dice shape)
- cooking oil(to fry fillings), salt and sugar

- Bread crumbs
- Egg
- Cooking oil
Directions

Add bread flour, sugar and dry yeast into a bowl and mix well. Then add in water/fresh milk and salt and knead until smooth.

Circle the dough and cover the bowl with wet cloth. Let it rise double.

Punch the dough to remove air from the dough. Divide into 8 portions.

Benchtime for about 10-15 minutes

For each portion, roll the dough and put the filling on the middle of it then close firmly the dough. Press with your hand to make the shape as in the picture above.

Mix egg yolk and white eggs in a bowl.

Soak the dough in the eggs and cover it with bread crumbs. Fry with medium heat until golden brown.

For fillling : Fry the onion

Add mashed sardine into the fry pan

Add in potatoes
-
Finally add in salt, sugar, white pepper and lemon juice and adjust the taste.

Remove from heat and use it as the fillings for your sardine bread
