Sausagebread

recipe for bread machine

Ingredients ( 12 )

  • * 120ml fresh milk
  • * 50g eggs
  • * 300g bread flour
  • * 1 teaspoon salt
  • * 3 tablespoons sugar
  • * 60g butter
  • * 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 12 sticks sausage
  • tomato or chile sauce
  • mayonnaise
  • egg yolk for brushing

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients marked with * into bread machine, set to dough cycle, and start the bread machine.
  2. When the breadmaker has finished the dough cycle, take the dough out and punch down air
  3. Sausagebread1 Divide the dough into 12 portions. Bench time for 10 minutes
  4. Roll dough into 30cm length cylinder
  5. Sausagebread2 Press the both end of the dough (to connect with the other end) as in the picture
  6. Sausagebread3 Attach both end of the dough as in the picture
  7. Sausagebread4 Place a sausage on the middle of the dough as in the picture. Repeat step 4 to 7 for the remaining dough
  8. Sausagebread5 Let it rise double then brush top lightly with egg yolk
  9. Bake at 180 degree for about 10 minutes until golden brown
  10. Sausagebread6 Take out from oven and cool slightly on a rack. Serve with mayonnaise or tomato sauce
