Ingredients ( 8 )

  • 1 (15 oz.) refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1/3 C. Butter - melted
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 C. light corn syrup
  • 4 Lg. eggs - slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 C. pecan halves
  • 1 C. sweetened coconut - toasted
  • 3/4 C. semi-sweet chocolate chunks or morsels

Directions

  1. Unroll 1 piecrust and place on a lightly flours surface. Lightly brush top of crust with water. Unroll remaining curst and place over bottom crust, gently roll into a 10" circle. Fit into 9" deep dish pie pan. Crimp edges.
  2. Stir together butter and next 5 ingredients in a large bowl, stir well. Stir in pecans and remaining ingredients. Pour filling into piecrust.
  3. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes with aluminum foil if necessary to slow browning. Cool completely on wire rack.
