Ingredients ( Serves 2-4 )

  • 1 chicken bullion cube
  • 1/2 C. Butter
  • 1/2 C. Water
  • 2-3 Onions, sliced
  • 1 T. Flour
  • 1/4 t. Salt
  • Dash Pepper
  • 3/4 C. Water
  • 1 lb. Carrots, sliced
  • Pinch Sugar

Directions

  1. Cook carrots in 1/2 C. water adn bullion cube for 10 minutes
  2. Melt butter and cook onions in butter for 15 minutes
  3. Add flour, salt, pepper and 3/4 C. water; bring to a boil
  4. Add carrots in their liquid to onion mixture
  5. Simmer 10 minutes uncovered
  6. Add a pinch of sugar
