Ingredients ( 6 )

  • 1 lb ground beef - browned
  • 1 c chopped onions
  • 1 c raw potatoes (cubed)
  • 1/2 c chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 quarts water
  • 1/2 t thyme
  • 1/4 t basil
  • 5 t salt
  • 1/8 t pepper
  • 1/4 c barley
  • 2 1/2 c stewed tomatoes

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large pan. Simmer one hours until vegies are tender. Do not stir too much as it cooks.
