Ingredients ( 5-8 )

  • 3lb. Pork Roast trimmed of fat
  • 1lb pinto beans (washed) about 3 1/2 cups
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2TBS chile powder
  • 1TBS cumin
  • 1TBS salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 can diced green chile

Directions

  1. Put all ingredients in crock pot and cover with water.
  2. Add water as needed
  3. After 6 hours remove bones and break up meat.
  4. Cook uncovered until thick.
  5. Use as a soup or as meat for a burrito, chalupa, etc.
